Richard came to screenwriting later on in life.. After studying under Lucy Scher at the renowned Script Factory in London he went away to hone his craft.
His first foray into the world of film festivals resulted in the award of “Finalist” at the 2020 Academy Awards® qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival in Los Angeles with “After the Monsoon”, a twenty minute drama influenced by the colours and wonderful romance of India’s “Pink City”, Jaipur.
